Job Summary: The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with project documentation and control, job cost accounting, scheduling, and construction supervision efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion.
Responsibilities
- Support Project Manager and / or Project Superintendent with project management.
- Interface with others to resolve problems, ensure quality of construction, etc. in support of overall project schedule.
- Duties may include: subcontract coordination, contract administration, submittals, creation and revision of work plans, field verification of quantities and work performed, analysis of CPM schedules, pay requests, and regular schedule updates with narratives.
- Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental requirements.
- Complete other assignments as assigned by your direct supervisor.
- Maintain an insurable driving recor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2 - 5 years' of experience as a project coordinator, project engineer, or project manager
- Strong experience in AutoCad and Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with rules, regulations, best practices and performance standards
