WW Clyde is looking for a dependable and safety-focused Side Dump Driver with a Class A CDL to join our team. In this role, you’ll keep our heavy civil construction projects moving by hauling asphalt, rock, and other materials to and from job sites. You’ll navigate off-road conditions, ensure proper loading and unloading, and complete thorough safety checks — all while delivering excellent service to our crews and customers.

Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload asphalt, rock, and other materials with accuracy.
- Transport dirt, aggregates, and demolition in a safe and timely manner.
- Maintain truck logs according to state and federal regulations.
- Access and maneuver through off-road construction sites.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety.
- Obtain and provide signed delivery tickets.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and site personnel.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety protocols, and environmental standards.
- Consistently meet performance goals in a time-sensitive environment.
- Demonstrate initiative and reliability with minimal supervision.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A CDL with no restrictions.
- Minimum 1 year tractor/trailer experience.
- Must be comfortable pulling up to 97,000 lbs combined vehicle weight.
- Automatic transmission restriction is accepted.
- Clean driving record.
- Minimum 1 year of experience driving doubles or LCV (longer combination vehicles).
- Ability to sit for extended periods, bend, and work in outdoor conditions, including heat.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail.
- Must be 21 years old or older in compliance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations and company vehicle insurance requirements.
