Heavy Equipment Operator

Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator 

Location: Tuba City, Arizona

Responsibilities:  

Inspect, maintain, and operate equipment, designated during assigned shift, in a safe and proper way in order to avoid accidents or undue maintenance or repair work. Assist and work with others on construction crews.

• Excavator 

• Mini Excavator 

• Dozer 

• Skid steer 

• Water Truck 

• Water Pull 

• Water Buffalo 

• Motor Grader 

• Scrapper 

• Gannon 

• Art Haul Truck 

• Truck mounted drill rig 

• Tracked Drill Rig 

• Art Water Truck 

• Rollers 

• Street Sweeper 

• Shot Crete Pump 

• Challenger Tractor 

• Disc Tractor 

Qualifications:  

Applicants must possess high levels of skill. Must have a minimum of 1-2 years prior experience in operating specified heavy equipment. Utility excavation experience preferred. Attention and commitment to safety, ability to follow instructions and the ability to move at least 50 pounds, multiple times daily. Prior exposure to year-round Arizona temperatures, including summer months, is a must.   

Recommended: 

Prior experience reading plans, understanding quantities, JHA’s (Job-Hazard Analysis), and Goal of the Day a plus.
