As the Project Controls Manager, you will work under the Director of Project Controls to manage and oversee project controls for our construction projects. Your role is to establish effective controls and operating policies that identify, monitor, and mitigate risks, ensuring that projects remain on schedule and within budget. You will analyze project data, track budgets, perform profitability analyses, and report outcomes to support the overall goals of WW Clyde.
Implement WW Clyde’s vision and core values within the project controls function.
Identify and resolve risks and financial discrepancies or variances impacting project performance.
Develop and refine processes and procedures for project controls across assigned projects.
Analyze the accuracy of month-end project reporting and ensure consistency with established metrics.
Evaluate and forecast current estimate status against a baseline schedule.
Oversee the setup of new projects and the closing processes of completed projects.
Analyze financial reports and forecasts, aligning them with known trends to support decision-making.
Create data analytics to monitor if projects are staying within their intended scope.
Manage project deadlines by ensuring adherence to established timetables.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
At least 5 years of relevant experience in project controls within the construction industry.
Detailed knowledge of spreadsheets, Power Queries, Power BI, and Smartsheets is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction processes and scheduling methodologies.
Ability to work effectively under pressure with minimal supervision.
Excellent analytical and communication skills with keen attention to detail.
