Job Summary: Manage equipment department with $300 million in revenue and over $100 million in assets. Overall objective: Ensure a high level of equipment readiness for all jobs at any given time.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Visualize, fulfill, and implement the vision and core values.
- Ensure a safe work environment in compliance with all safety policies and procedures.
- Evaluate current processes and organizational structure. Recommend and implement changes to improve department and company results.
- Own the capital expenditure strategy for all company equipment.
- Optimize fleet and equipment utilization across the company. Identify unused/unproductive equipment and determine what to sell, rebuild, reallocate, etc.
- Supervise and lead others in the equipment department. Hold team members accountable to company desired outcomes and processes while driving a high level of team member engagement.
- Generate equipment rates.
- Partner with project teams to determine project specific equipment strategy.
- Other duties as assigned.

Desired Education, Experience, Knowledge and Attributes:
- Understanding of DOT regulations for working across multiple states in the western US.
- Understanding of HCSS Suite of Services (HCSS Dispatcher, etc.)
- Familiarity with and experience working with collective bargaining agreements.
